Easiest Game Ever How to Use the Cheese Ball
The yellow smiley is the real tutorial. The trophy was a decoy.
The Cheese Ball is a yellow sphere with a smiley face that spawns in the grass pit. New players ignore it, touch the trophy, and leave. Almost every interesting ending in Easiest Game Ever starts when you treat that ball as a tool, NPC, and key.
This page is the specialist how-to. Lore and mood sit on the Cheese Ball character page. Beginner context sits on getting started.
Push, stand, fall
Push. WASD into the ball. It rolls. If it drops into the chasm without you, wait. The pit flashes yellow for a few seconds. That flash is your window into the Cheese Area. Jump after it to start Cheese, Big Cheese, Little Cheese, Consumed, Golden Cheese, Money Bag, Lost, and half the sewer lines.
Stand. Jump on top. Use it as a mobile crate to reach the cliff behind spawn, the ledge with the money bag, and several cloud routes. If it rolls out from under you, that is how people earn Fell by accident. Practice on spawn before you try Acrophobia.
Fall with it. Some endings want you in the pit at the same time as the ball. Some want the ball down there alone. Cheese wants the flash. Consumed wants the ball to eat you later. Read the easy endings labels before you panic-reset.
The short video on this page is Big Cheese, which is the same room as Cheese with extra clicks on the block. It is here because it shows the yellow space clearly without a two-hour compilation.
Open the mine
From spawn, roll the ball toward the dirt wall past the trophy. Keep pressure on the wall. A hidden path opens. That is The Mine, one of the first this game is lying moments. Details and neighbouring rooms are on the map.
If the wall does nothing, you may be ramming the wrong dirt, or that path is disabled in the current rescript. Check the changelog rather than installing a script.
Chat: Lightning Strike
The ball talks. Copy what it says in chat, exactly, quickly, until lightning hits you. That is Lightning Strike. Wrong punctuation wastes the attempt. Full three-line script: Lightning Strike guide. On mobile, open chat before you start copying so the keyboard does not eat the first line. Controls covers the typing problem.
This is not a promo code. Do not put the line in a fake redeem GUI. See the codes hub.
Super Win and party variants
Push the ball onto or into the trophy until it absorbs and becomes a smiley trophy. Interact again for Super Win. Party endings (Dance Party, Super Dance Party, Disco Ball, Party Pooper) are nearby prop clicks. They are easy, but they teach you that click order matters, which you will need for Gold Bar on the items page.
Sewer rat and Keith
Once you can enter Cheese Area on purpose:
- Click the giant cheese for a wedge.
- Find the sewer rat, feed it, take the key.
- Use cheese and chairs to move Keith for Lost.
Those NPC steps live on Keith and items. The ball is still how you reach the rooms. Without the ball, Keith is a rumor behind a wall.
Apple Ball, Angry Ball, and other cousins
The red Apple Ball is the fruit-side tool. Golden Apple and fruit endings need it the way Cheese needs the yellow one. An Angry Ball has been part of Diamond Cheese and a boss-style fight near the obby; if Angry is disabled, that cousin may be missing. Do not confuse every sphere in the place for the Cheese Ball. The smiley yellow one is the spawn partner. The characters hub lists the cast.
Common failures
- You jumped into the chasm before the yellow flash — you got Fell, not Cheese.
- You reset while the ball was in a puzzle — you got Reset and lost the setup.
- You nocliped past a wall with a helper script and skipped the flash — the Cheese Area did not load correctly.
- You stood on the ball on a slope and it launched — welcome to physics. Re-push from spawn.
